This ADORABLE boy needs a home also!!!!! This dog ROCKS!!!
Roscoe is a happy go lucky guy who is content to sit at your feet (or on your lap) and get some well deserved love and attention. At about 5 years old this handsome guy has a moderate energy level and has been great with all of the dogs that he has been introduced to. Though he does not live in a home with cats he has been tested with them and has shown no bad reactions. Roscoe is slowly learning basic obedience and leash walking and is looking for a home that will finish his leash training and take him on nice walks and let him enjoy the outside. Roscoe is crate trained and does just fine in the crate when his foster parents aren’t there and has not shown any destructive habits such as chewing things or eating furniture. Roscoe has done well with all of the Children he has been introduced and is happy to meet everyone who comes to visit him. If you are interested in giving this handsome guy a home please go to our website and fill out an application. Note: Please fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you within 1-2 business days. We do not have a central office facility, all of our pets are housed in foster homes until they are adopted. Your first step in adopting a furry friend is to go to our website www.rainbowrescues.org and fill out an application. At this time, adoption fees for dogs are $175.

Here’s Trouble!” In January, 2006, after some tough times of her own, then twelve year old Kendra Duncan of Marblehead, Massachusetts, decided that kids (and adults too) could use some help during difficult times … maybe they were ill, or had lost a loved one … or were simply feeling a little bit afraid. They needed a great big hug … and more!

She sat down and drew a very simple little pup, and named him “Trouble”! She then worked with her aunt, Sheila, to design a cuddly plush toy as well as a children’s book which tells Trouble’s story of rescue and hope…and how to “be tough” when times are hard.

Trouble has a mission … to make people feel better … and he does! It’s magical! ” To learn more visit http://www.troublesaysbetough.com.

Purchase this adorable stuffed Trouble dog or the children’s book and the proceeds are donated back to the SPCA of TN towards rescuing another poor dog that has no hope.

Scientists in Moscow say stray dogs have learned to use the subway to travel to the city centre in search of food.

Biology professor Andrew Poyarkov said he had seen several dogs unaccompanied on the city’s underground rail system, reports rupor.org.

He claims the dogs travel into the city centre, where they can more easily find food, each morning and travel back to where they live each evening.

“They do not just go to the subway station, they actually board the trains,” he said.

“They seem to have learnt how long they need to stay on the train to leave at the right station.

“Sometimes they fall asleep and miss their stop. Then they get off take another train back to the centre.”

Dr Poyarkov said he had also noted the same dogs waiting for a green light to cross the road.

He says they have somehow managed to pick up habits from humans and is investigating the phenomenon.

Meet Rogue Assault, AKA Charlie, Charles, Chazz Michael Michaels: The Lone Wolf (not because he’s antisocial, but because he’s one greyhound in a pack of Siberian Huskies). This young, svelte, boy is extremely happy and puppy-like in personality, but nevertheless always dressed to impress in a shiny, soft, black tuxedo. Rogue enjoys the company of other dogs, but as he’s only two years old, he can be a little too rambunctious and has a tendency to steal the show. On the other hand, Rogue lives with four kitties who seem to be alternately fun to nuzzle or scary monsters that he should steer clear of (this appears to depend on what color package they come in). Being a young dog, Rogue is incredibly inquisitive and playful. His favorite toy is a squeaky green ball that he will toss in the air forever if you let him. But in Rogue’s world, nothing tops the love and affection of a human being, so if you’d like to add him to your family, you’d better make sure you have a big lap. His favorite time of day is anytime someone is paying attention to him, and in return for your affection, he will show you his happy dance and then settle into a nice lean.

I’m sure it’s quite obvious that Rogue is a very special boy, and one of his most impressive qualities is his uncrushable spirit in the face of adversity. At a very young age, Rogue sustained an injury to his right rear foot that did not heal properly. As a result, when he came into foster care he was unable to walk properly and was experiencing quite a bit of pain. He was also very weak and very thin. His weight issue was addressed by putting him on a proper diet, thanks to the donated help of a canine nutritionist. Greyhound Welfare found a fantastic orthopedic surgeon to operate on Rogue’s foot, reducing his pain and enabling him to live a fairly normal life. He’s recovered well and quickly, and is ready to steal your heart — if you’ll let him.

As you might guess, such a extraordinary boy is looking for an extraordinary home. Because of his injury, he must wear a boot to protect his foot. He will NOT do well as a running partner. In addition, he has food allergies and must eat a special food, which as an added bonus makes his coat beautiful and as shiny as Orion’s Belt on the ice. Despite what he’s been through, Rogue may be one of the happiest and loving greyhounds you will ever meet. If you enjoy short walks on the beach, living in the here and now, and cuddling on a rainy afternoon, Rogue just may be your perfect match! Apply to meet Rogue today, and maybe YOU will become the wolf who runs with the lone wolf, so the lone wolf never has to be alone.

Please note that adoption MUST go thru GW: www.greyhoundwelfare.org

THANKS SO MUCH!!
If you are interested please email Jo at jo@wigglebums.com
The adoption must go through:

Duke is a 1 1/2 yr old male purebred GSD, healthy and loves kids. He is about 85 pounds. Up to date on shots and is fixed. Eats Evo brand dog food.

His owners are not home during the day and he is put outside in the yard for long periods of time in the yard. His neighbor Mary takes him in from time to time and he gets along with her other dogs and kids. He may be OK with cats.

Duke will need some training and a home that he will have lots of exercise and stimulation. He is a smart dog and needs a job. I think he would be great in a home with kids since he loves them. He loves to play.

If you are interested in Duke please email Mary at mary.walsh@net1plus.com

We receive several emails a week from folks trying to find homes for pets in the MA and Nh area. Our goal is to make this process more efficient and easier than just forwarding emails to everyone we know who is pet friendly.

We will be sending out an e-letter about once a week or so with information about pets looking for homes. If you would like to receive this e-letter please email us at AdoptMe at FourPawsAcupuncture dot com
We never give out or sell your email addresses.

If you would like to have us post information on any pets in the MA or NH area who need homes. For everyone’s safety and privacy here are the guide lines we ask you to follow:

* Since there are too many emails floating around lately that are scams, please only send from pet owners or pet professionals you know.

* If you are sending an email to us and others, please always use the Bcc not the Cc field to reduce the chance of spammers grabbing these addresses or spreading viruses. We will not post any pets that come from an email with several email addresses exposed in the Cc.

* Please post the name of the pet, age, sex, breed, any health related information, spay or neutered, city, state with the email address of the person to contact. We prefer not to publish phone numbers.

* Other info such as: Does the pet get along with children, dogs or cats? Any info on the pet to help it find a home would be helpful.

Please send only one picture of the pet. All emails with several attachments will be deleted before we open them.

Thank you for being a part in helping local pets find forever homes.
